Invierno Espagnol / Spanish winter

Winter 2011 -2012 Paul and I lived on one of the Canary Islands.
So many different landscapes on one island: green luscious woods in the North and desert in the South. The vulcano: El Teide, and the ocean almost always in sight.
Both of us were inspired. Paul wrote poems, I painted.
No landscapes though: dreamlike visions, memories and abstract images landed on the paper. (Debbie Parkins)
